    I've had my RE SXX 15(dual 4) on a hifonics hfi1500d(1000 rms@2ohms) for a while. It's a decent subwoofer on a budget amp and it puts out some decent bass. For the price, though, you may want to look elsewhere. You should at least consider DC and some other companies on this site.

    I've had this problem with the chatroom for about 3 weeks. I used to go in there frequently at home and work with no problems. Anyway, I noticed I was using Firefox in both places, so I tried Internet Explorer and it worked! I did try switching the theme with no success.

    I have the X396 and it sounds better than any pioneer or other head unit that I've had(all under $200).

    It's all about what you want, really. You can turn your sub level down(on head unit) so that you can barely hear it at full volume, or hear it loud as hell at ~10%. It's however you want your system to sound, just be careful of clipping/distorting your sub. With that said, I've never owned a JCV h/u, but I've always kept my sub level at 0 and loudness off, so maybe you could start there.
