Is there anything lame but necessary about going active that I need to be ready to deal with?

7 5/8" mounting depth for the 10" is gonna be cutting it close, pretty sure it needs motor clearance for the pole vent too. I have always wanted an IDMAX, gotta find some way to make this work before I fold and buy an SD-2.

IDQV3? I can always turn my amp down.

Could you do a spacer ring ontop of the baffle to push the sub out a little..give you another 3/4 of an inche.
If its close to something maybe run a grille over the sub to protect it.
Just thinking out loud here lol

Time to convince myself to cough up the funds for a set of 660GTIs and my build will be a subwoofer away from (equipment) completion!

Misread this for 660Ti's and was wondering when 8ight was ever interested in custom PC's.

Well I'm an IT guy so... interestingly enough...

Hahahaha!

Anyone interested in a DC 270 XP GM 4 pin alt? AD244 case ask DC what it fits but I know it works for many GMs and almost all GM trucks
-
Can I get a driveby opinion on the JBL MS-62C comp set? I can get them for $200 through work, considering a set for my truck.

Aren't stuck up SQ guys who you want reviewing SQ speakers you are interested in? just saying..if they are assholes about stuff and like them that should be a GOOD sign.

That's why I read from that site sometimes but never join.

Same deal with me, Omega

Looks like Comcast is starting to do some blocking on behalf of the music industry, now is the best time to be an IT guy who has his own VPN server...

interesting, so things like pandora wont work? or?
-
how much for this vpn?
-
This is only by my own observation. They are blocking websites, it throws back phony page load errors that are obviously not the fault of the website you are attempting to access. I can get through to site "X" on mobile hotspot service (laptop connected to phone) and with my VPN on but not directly through my home connection (which is Comcast).

So I guess a "cyber attack" is the black flag they're going to use to strip us of our internet freedom.
-
its only going to get worse. Wait til you see the DLP for social networking software thats being rolled out.
-
I can only imagine, being in IT makes this so much more painful. Everyone I work with realizes that the government can do nothing but spy, and implement nothing that isn't a spy tool. That is what they will call "cyber security."
