four ports would have to be super super super long to bring tuning to 38...its not possible....im talkin over 50" long...lol and like i said ealier: with 3 6" ports each 22" long, tuning would be around 37.5hz with two 6" ports each 11" long, tuning would be around 37.5hz
-
four 6" ports each 20" long will put tuning at about 46hz...with almost 20sq" of port area per cubic foot...too much imo..and too high tuning
-
first off...are these aeros or just pvc? second off...that tunning will never happen with 4 ports..its impossible thirdly....too many ports with 3 6" ports each 22" long, tuning would be around 37.5hz with two 6" ports each 11" long, tuning would be around 37.5hz if it was me....i would use two 6" aero ports...but thats about $80

i also believe nick said only 15s and 18s

sexy!! like the new mounting feet!! -
dont know much about the history of flat cones.... but...has anyone ever tried a flange on the former? kinda like an aero port....the top of the former has a nice lip all the way around to be glued to the cone...just a thought...would def be more surface area to glue...but would have to be PERFECTLY centered...

just build a box for same subs.... http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...60&start=60 around 5 cubes net, two 6"aeros, tuned to 37ish...he has yet to get the subs...so not sure how it sounds..lol but that design should work well for u as well i would do around 5cubes net, maybe more...tuned from 36-38hz
