I run my SA-12 close to 1200w but alot of guys run them in a pair at 600w on the same amp. So how does that mean different sub?

I would put money on the 2 being louder because same power but double the cone area would be an increase....if both boxes were just as efficient. But thats in a perfect world...there are so many dynamics and Im just a noob so but in general I'm pretty sure (same power)+(more cone area)= (more output).

True words bro. Damn squids Hey they will learn sometime....just like the guy with a helmet mohawk and Icon vest(no jacket,gloves,over-ankle protection. You can be the best rider ever(unlikely) and when someone hits you that squid mohawk or little vest isnt gonna do crap and you end up in ER. I have gone down at 80+mph 2 times in my life. Once on a sportbike, guys ladder fell out of his truck, and another time on a full blown desert race bike. On the sportbike I had full gear...slid it out got lucky i didnt get hit...and I waited on the side of the fwy perfectly un-injured. The other time I was in moto gear but didnt do crap on asphalt got tons or road rash..exposed muscle...dislocated thumb fingers broken ribs and it actually ground through my chest protector. I think its crazy whenever I see a hot girl on a bike in nill gear...and usually a 50-100$ helmet, and there bf is in a Shoei/Arai with leather jacket. yea well atleast it was nice to look at. Yea thats da truth right there. My gf likes the vibrations at about 9-10k and she likes the vibrations even more on my 250f when I ride her over to the gates before a race.

I emailed them over at PSI. They said roughly 125$ for them to build them into subs. My guess is its basket recone etc....since I said its just the motor. So roughly 200$ for built custom sub...not bad at all. Wish I had the moolah to buy a few motors right now. Free bump.

She has boots helmet and then yoga pants :facepalm: guess its better than bootie shorts but what do these girls think happens at 80mph on ashpalt. Their butt/legs will be so scarred and rasberried that they wont ever want to wear a bikini again...and that will just be a sin with a butt like that. My gf isnt allowed on my bike without full gear no matter the weather or what I am wearing. I tell her that if she wants to wear shorts or vans than she can ride her own bike because any injuries hse gets are my responsibilities.

I would go with the Kenwood. Have always had Kenwood/Pioneer head units...never had any problems. Did a few different installs for friends with sony H/U and I'm not a fan but they did get the job done. My vote still goes for the Kenwood...I like their menus and SQ seems good.

With those dimensions you posted you could get like 6.5 cubes max. They recommend minimum of 2cubes for each so you are 1.5cubes under the minimum recomendation. Can you get anymore space? maybe make it taller like 18-19 inches...that will get you over the 8 cubes after port probably. I cant get torres at work but you should download it and play with your dimensions and ports to get your right amount of airspace and port area/tuning.

In those dimensions you could do an L port with 6.5 cubes and a 4"x23.5" port thats about 20"s long and 33hz tuning. Worked perfectly when comparing my box specs and the math you use for figuring out tuning. But I know some members say its innacurate. Check it against Torres box calculator. The RE one will give you a rough idea with the airspace etc.

It looks pretty beastly...what kind of mounting depth and power handling? take 1000-1100rms daily? I dont have too much but how much are you looking to sell for before you set up another thread.

So start of 250beg moto1 I got off the gate good and was about 4th going into Taladega ( big right handed turn on enbankment like nascar turns. I was on very inside and the guy next to me got hit and ran into me pushing both of us into a tractor tire 4th gear wide open. Smashed my leg inbetween the tire and bike and got flicked off when it rebounded throwing me skyward. I came down on my head and landed hard enough to crack my Leatt brace. I broke/fractured ankle/foot.
