Overcharging motors isn't all too uncommon, I know DD offers a "SuperCharged" option to their 3500 series, where they simply give the motor a stronger charge. that is not what the supercharging option is

it's weakening on such a low level it won't matter, even just sitting there your subs motor is losing charge. magnets arn't magic they don't stay charged forever. alnico is the longest lasting if I remember right

playing them does weaken the magnet, just not on a scale big enough to notice.

well he does have a point, concrete is an electrical conductor. I suppose it might weaken the magnet some just by giving the electrons some place to go. I might have to look into this further. Remember guys just because you don't notice or can't see it happening doesn't mean it doesn't happen.

not really you need a 2000-5000 high pass filter to run tweeters

what do you mean hissing sound? that sounds like noise getting into the system not the tweeters and I said tweeters as highs do not belong behind the listening area

the sub is worth 200-250 no clue on amp but 4k for 400-350 shouldn't be to bad of a deal

our rottie could care less as well that bastard kept snapping chains so we ended up using an old car chain. great dog but way to strong and did not like chained up when I was gone.
