  1. So, both Maxwell and Ioxus have preassembled banks exactly like they are proposing. Curious to see if they are going to be doing something different, lower price, better casing, anything really. Hope it's not just a sticker with markup, which I don't necessarily expect.
  2. I have the problem that nomatter how many times I click on "full site", it always reverts back to the mobile theme within a couple hours. Kinda frustrating after a while.
  3. Here: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/95053-cablguys-1997-chevy-silverado-1500-extended-cab/page-13 Yeah those are nice. Look exactly the same, and it's awesome. Too bad they're probably out of my price range for 4 channels
  4. You seen pics of my new LP amplifiers ?? Correct ?? Well, I thought I did, but you writing this makes me think otherwise maybe? The LP2150? Maybe 2250? Look EXACTLY the same don't they? Gimme a link if not.
  5. I LOVE the finned heatsinks like this. I hope LP never drops this. Nice amp. Hard to find that kind of power at 8ohms even now. Shoot, I'm fairly sure my DC 5.0k won't even do that lol.
  6. Nope, that's external dimensions. I got the idea from this http://www.data-bass.com/data?page=system&id=91 He's using a 15.5'' cube box for a 15'' driver, and the heavy duty drivers he tests produce quite excellent maximum output. I just wanna do something like that, but with a little bit more enclosure rigidity, so I'll make my box 16'' cube. Plus, I think a "bezel-less" sub looks pretty cool! I don't push my subs hard. The Zv4 looks like an extreme duty subwoofer, and I don't think it'd be fazed by the 2000 watts from an iNuke amp if it somehow ever needs it. I'll take the smaller size over efficiency anyday. You do realize a 16" cube box is 1.76 cubic feet gross internally right? If you're going sealed, you could add a ton of stuffing and you might be ok. But it's not gonna be great. Also note that Sundown doesn't recommend sealed for the Zv.4's. And forget about ported in that box.
  7. A 19" cube box? For an 18? Even IF those are internal dimensions, just no. You might be able to squeeze a 15" in a 19" cube box, if those are internal dims and you use a small aero.
  8. So, how much you going to spam me now? In the end, if I win free gear I don't really care.
  9. Making the company and amp size logos reversible would be awesome.
  10. Lol dude it's funny you say that, I have been saying that EXACT same thing to Murphy for a while now and begging him to do something.
  11. Awesome, I'll be watching this. Been wanting a solid large underhung woofer for a while.
  12. Sounds really good. I want it right meow! Is this an offspring of, or the new, JF signature that you were working on a while ago? What ever happened to that?
  13. Projected specs? Pleeeeeease tell me this is underhung/XBL^2. Estimated release? Inb4lookslike05XXXposts.
  14. gotcha. But really, any air movement is better than none. Everyone know's that the higher CFM the better. But thanks This is just a basic build that anyone can do very quickly. There are lots of variables that will go into each different situation. I have a old Soundstream Class A 3.0 that gets hot enough to fry an egg within 15 minutes of play time. One little fan double side taped to the top of the heat sync was enough to keep that thing room temperature and it never blew up again after i put it on there. Again, ANY air is better than no air in most cases. I definitely agree. Just wanted to add Did you remove my picture? Could have sworn I put it in there, but maybe something happened.
  15. Nice little rack. Just wanted to mention that depending on the way you mount your fans, you should also pay attention to static pressure. For example, in a cross-flow rack like you built there, you should just pay attention to how much air they can move, CFM. But if you have your fans right against the amps with not much room for them to "breathe", like so (circles under the amps have fans on the back side): you need to also worry about static pressure. Higher pressure means a stronger fan. Some of those cheap computer fans don't have enough ass in them to cool enough to justify putting them in some mounting locations. Just wanted to add that
