    Orion has been around since the early 90 if not older, most of their products are produced over seas now with a decline in quality. Look into CDT you will be alot more pleased with the sound from their HD line.

    More than likely the box is super efficient keeping the amp load low. If I personally was pushing anything over 2k watts I would look into a HO Alt as a battery would just be a band-aid for the problem especially for a daily driver.
