I like the 34hz tuning much better also It looks like a pain but, it won't come apart. lol. This is the first box that I actually like and every thing fits and feels right. TeamHT
That's not the route I would go if you're only trying to make sure it doesn't come apart. Quote Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?

When I said that, I meant that it's all puzzled together. dunkoholic
Port is fine but 1.5cf is the sweet spot for an xl 12 dangit, i'm at 2.27 cubes on my current box... it still pounds, but i wish i can compare a 1.5 cube box vs mine... Robert8252
I started at 1.5 cubes net didn't like it. Might not of had enough port though. Next box was 1.9 cubes. It was better but still didn't like it and also probably not enough port. At 2.29cubes now with a 6" aero and it's 5db louder then the other two boxes. Next box is for two 12" XLs and 70^inches of port. Maybe 80. I'm not saying 1.5 cubes isn't good but unless you throwing 3k plus I wouldn't go that small. 2 cubes with the port recommended above would be a great start. This is just my experience. 1.5 is guaranteed to be a safe box. 2 cubes is what I would start with with 30-36 square inches of slot port.
