Caps are great at filling in ripples in voltage and current in a charging system that has enough current to keep up with the demands of your system. Caps do not help an already struggling charging system, though they usually don't hurt it much either. informational post is informational.. Just do the big 3 and buy a kinetik 2400w battery no... excessive.. I'm not sure what is available there, but what I can tell you is that the battery isn't the only thing running your amps. Yes your battery is one, other then the Big 3, of the first electrical upgrades people do, you may also want to look into a HO alternator. Depending on the size of your stock alternator, most are like 90-110 amps, you should be fine with an upgraded battery upfront and the Big 3. Stay away from capacitors because they but more strain on your alternator. If, when you have a solid electrical system, you want to put a cap in for looks, then fine, but other then that, stay away. good info but no need for a ho alt in his case. but caps dont put more strain on the alt.. again false info Buy some 0 gauge wire and do the big 3(look it up) u can have a kinetik 2400w shipped to u for about 500 bucks...it's ur cheapest option because a capacitor will only ruin your fuse box and electrical system.. second ignorant comment.. dont try and help people when you dont know jack. Alternator charge wire, The wire running from your alternator to your batteries + terminal. 2. The Engine block ground wire, The wire running from the engine block to the chassis/frame of the car, this also serves as the alternator's ground. 3. Battery/chassis ground, The wire running from the battery - to the chassis/frame. There are slight variations, especially when using multiple batteries, but thats the basics. The upgrade should be done with large gauge wire, usually 1/0. And I was unaware the n1s were out yet. they came out last october You can't order them yet that's why i was curious how he had 2 already
