The AQ20 is more than twice the amp as 2 3500's. I'm not sure how you can compare the two setups.

You must mod the AQ 20 to get it to run 18v, then you can get the full potential of the amp. But if you do so the warrantee is gone.

The AQ20 doesnt have a warranty when it is new, regardless of any modding you do to it.

Well considerIng that the 20k only puts out around 8K at 14 volts and is 2,000 dollars. I would buy 4 3500.1's;)

8k at 12.5V to be exact lol. Real world testing has been showing higher

But to the op. the 20k is a straight out power amp. The aq3500d.1 at 8600 14.4V which we have clamped over 9k at a 2ohm load strapped at 10.5V will put out close to the power and do so more musically IMO.

I would do the two aq3500d.1 strapped, gives you more opinions for wiring that way, cuz you could run them strapped or single and different ohm loads. And for one, the AQ20 can only take up to 17 volts 18 is too much for the board, there is no warranty what so ever with the aq20. Two 3500d.1's is the way to go.
