We are looking into that believe me, it will be a new ball game for our crx's but I think it will be fun and interesting.

But yes it will get done eventually. Seeing our team in the lanes doing Meca.

On sunday we as a team had to experience the differences between Drag and Meca..I think it would be a good thing for you guys to experience to appreciate the differences in metering styles..You guys crushed the classes in Drag; I think you will find that CRXs are not as conducive to Meca metering..I think it will allow you guys to appreciate what it takes to succeed in a headrest build, just as we had to come to appreciate what it takes to succeed with a dash build.. I dislike Drag burp classes, but that doesnt mean that you guys put in any less effort then we do, it doesnt mean that you guys dont have to test over and over and over as we do..all the effort we must put in to succeed in meca, you guys also must do to succeed in Drag...That said, I think some Meca guys want some payback..lol...hope to see you guys out there one day

It's because dem drag boys don't know what a fuse is :peepwall:

Ha ha ha ....... real funny Bil!

Don't you forget now brotha, we weren't born yesterday when it comes to knowing about "fuses"......lol!

Seriously though, we will join Meca sooner than you think.

Quality is all in how you take pictures ;) I have plenty of projects that look WAY better on camera then in person :D

crazy to fit so many in so little. Reminds me of some of the porns I've seen?

with additional testing, you guys can certainly be loud in Meca as well...I would say the biggest obstacle to overcome is the frequencies the metering styles prefer..Headrest readings generally prefer a lower peak freq, while dash readings generally prefer a higher peak..the fusing isnt hard, it is simply manipulation of fusing...make sure that you guys understand the meca rules regarding CRX cargo areas, it can be very easy to be placed in a mod class rather then street class because the rules are pretty particular about CRX cargo area..not that it would be hard for you guys to be competitive in mod, but because your cars are ideally street class cars

it would be hard to get those sound digitals to like a 100 amp fuse though

not necessarily on the voltage they run..18v requires quite a bit less current then 13/14v to make comparable power...Alpine burped his on 2 80s. The thing is, the fuse will definately blow. Its all dependent on whether they can get that 2 seconds or so of current on that fuse...And im sure its not easy. Rolling on at a slightly wrong volume might blow the fuse, voltage dropping a few tenthes might blow it. Its definately a cat and mouse game

Speak on your CRX cargo area rules cause I think their rules are way non restrictive....

in the street class all rear panels can be ripped out correct?

See in street class thats a no no for db drag so I am at a disadvantage unless I pull them. Which I won't.

Fuses... n/p their ....?

Any help appreciated!

What we need to know is the 26" rule from rear panel to the box. Are we talking about the very edge of the box to the rear panel to measure? Or the very tip of our extended ports to rear panel since that is still a part of the box?

Very confusing 26" rule to me.........

True that but it's okay, our Soundigital amps are just for straight up dbdrag machines. We have other options that we can use.
