dereileak
Hey guys, I really want a newer car, I have a 99' dodge grand caravan now, which I don't need for one person, and its a minivan.... nuff said. I have looked at some models and have a few things I want, but need some suggestions... I would like it to be a manual probably (more fun to drive), also needs room for some bigger subs, 15s (have 2 now) and in the future going to 18s (4 of em), also want to be a model that can get a nice big alt in there from dc or mechman and if possible to use my d3400 up front (not 100% necessary). I am just sick of my minivan, got any ideas? if its a automatic thats fine, just name off some models and years, budget wise, hmmm, well I for sure need to stay under 10,000. I would have to pull a loan for around $8,000 (Fixed ) to get something at 10,000, so less is better, I really want something awesome enough to keep for years to come, and gives me room to grow! I want to eventually do all custom doors, sub box, everything thats possible! Will be a big project for me! and should be a lot of fun! iKidwell
if you're really lookin to get loud pretty cheap i'd do a 2 door tahoe..i've always liked the way those looked..if i was you i'd do a silverado/sierra/f150 and wall it..that's what i plan on doin once i get one of those cars for my graduation Quote c'mon now, if i was shooting an 8 year old, it wouldnt be MY 8 year old. i recently got a Pyle PL1590BL and i was building an enclosure for it tuned to 25 hz. i didn't have any tools to cut a circle so i hit it with a big hammer. 2003 Infiniti G35 Sport Sedan Build in Progress

mbdblue
Id say small SUV....trailblazer, blazer, jimmy stuff like that....but if your looking for alot of room to work, especially under the hood, don't go import. american is definitely easier when it comes to alternators and fitting bigger bats at least IMO....Im sure someone will chime in saying my acura/honda/VW/etc. has this much room. but just from comparing the two, Id say american is the way to go. my honda is getting harder and harder to work on as the equipment gets bigger. dereileak
here is my issue, I am sick of paying for gas for my van, 12mpg in the city, thats not real great, guessing a suv would do the same, but I guess thats the trade off for the room, comfort, and safety, idk. I am a bigger guy, so the room would be nice, I will have to look at some tahoes and see, any years that are real great? or any years to stay away from, I am real open right now, I want to do it this summer, gotta take all the shit out of my van, get new panels in there that I destroyed, ha ha, and sell the beast!! bignickk
i have an 00 new body style hoe (meades style) and its 14 city and i belive 17 highway. but there are things you can do to get better mileage. (air fliter, new computer module, etc) i belive 07 mabey 08 starts the newest body style and those will be a lot more money. i got my hoe with 3rd row, leather but no sunroof with 93K miles for 8 grand. if you look around you will find a good deal. but the price you pay really depends on miles and features Quote 2000 tahoe orion hcca 15.4 kicker zx2500 2 JL 300/4s infinity and kicker mids/highs KHC1400 in back, stock upfront dont ask about my HU clarion EQ kicker/fosgate rcas
