Well the question is why? I like the idea of being able to have a picture of whomever is setting off the alarm, whether it be neighborhood punks or an actual car thief. However I was trying to discern if there was any advantage(i.e. more features, lower yearly cost, etc.)in one over the other which might help to make buying one alarm over the other a factor. For instance, if knowing how fast your kid might be driving with a real time report or alarm, when the other one might not have that feature. I know the older Smartstart did not have that feature, but I think the newer version might. So anyone with up to date info on which system is better would be appreciated.
