Ji553r
Well a few years later I'm back at it again. 2012 I took the system out because my mother's car shit itself right before I left the country so I let her drive it for the year. Didn't do too much through 2013 but now I'm craving again. All I have done so far is upgrade the 5.25s in the doors to 6.5s. I'm not 10 minutes from a wood shop anymore so I don't really know when I'm going to build my new box for the subs. Anybody around Pensacola, FL who would be willing to help? On a side note.... I forget how to edit my topic title I don't fuck around. Swordlordboy1234
Very nice attention to detail sir. Also really nice equipment. Kinda shocked you don't have a 4ch, better mids/highs, and a dd1 cc1 on the way..... But I'll be tuned in sir. Once I become brave enough to cut my panels and make door pods I will buy a nice set of components and a nice 4ch. I also own a dd1 and absolutely love it! Solid investment right there. I have been thinking about a few more but haven't pulled the trigger yet I don't fuck around. Swordlordboy1234
I'd also reccomend any Smd meter. Also, using the cc1 to set my filters instead up of using headunit filters to HPF my mids made a huge difference. I'd highly reccomend the cc1. It also helped me set my subsonic on the subs. I found out I had my subsonic below 20hz instead of up near 25hz where it should be for my application. Keep up the good work bro. Again, very solid and clean. I love it when people don't take short cuts. Also props for the gf helping. Ji553r
Goodies arrived! Arc audio 5.25 components. I think I will try to make a kick panel. I don't know what I'm going to do with the second set yet. Arc is having a 60% off sale so they were only 60$ a set. I have had my eye on Arc for a while and have always wanted to try a set of their speakers out well now is my chance I don't fuck around. Ji553r
Well I tried fiberglassing. Removed the center console so I can install my voltmeter and I thought it would be a great learning experience before I cut my door panels and throw in my Arc components. Emphasis on the learning experience. I think the filler looks like shit so I'm going to have to do a lot of sanding and more filler. I guess I used too much hardener because it dried up in less than a minute before I could smooth it out better. Still fun doing it though! Progress has been slow I have only been working on it for less than an hour a day...and that's with grabbing tools, setting up, and clean up. I don't fuck around. And if you ever want sell those havocs let me know!!! Good to hear. I have an old old JBL 4 chan for the Arcs but I really want to upgrade once the funds come in. I was looking at CT sounds 4 chan a bit...I'm going to grab another XS before anything else though. And ok I will keep you in mind for the havocs because I'm going to remove the rear quarter storage which will give me at least 3 more cubic feet of space. If so I will up size to 18s more than likely I don't fuck around.
