Keith2
Beautiful car man!! Id love to have an older S class. I also have 2 12'' thunder 9500's I'm putting in my 93 525i, so I look forward to how big a box you go with. I have mine in a small ass sealed box on a t1000.1bd at 1ohm and my single type r sounded better/louder. So I want to build a ported monster for these things. I have 2 alpine mrp m1000's to use when I get the box built so they will be seeing the proper RMS power the thrive for lol. So I will for sure be watching your build an maybe mimic you a little bit 2001 BMW 525i 12'' MTX Thunder 9500 Alpine mrp-m1000 Focal mids/highs Alpine mrp-f300 Build thread to come in a couple weeks after I source some more stuff

I just think they were being shortchanged in that box. It's the one the manufacturer calls for but I'm gonna go with about 5 cubes and tuning around 32 and see where that gets me. Otherwise I have the power, just need the electrical which will make it's way here in do time........... Starting From Scratch!!
mhuck123
So here are some more pics of progress that has already passed. Liek I said I am a little farther ahead but I want to be able to add at least weekly and don't want to catch up too quick. Hope you enjoy!! Started the prepwork for paint, I do this at a local occupational center but sometimes you have to get down in the driveway!! Evening shot after some primer. Had to get rid of all the small little rock chips so I took the entire front of the hood to the metal so I would have a clean start. Almost there.... First time in the booth!!! This is a flat white, it has a pearlesent kind of sheen which is actually pretty cool to me. Plus almost no one notices that it's flat Stage one complete Stage two-Chrome pieces primered and preparred for paint. And after Starting From Scratch!! Yeah, I don't expect too many people to like it, but I do. It's actually not going to stay exactly like this either. I have some more things in the paint and body department that need to be done but I guess you can't please everyone! Starting From Scratch!!
