Whats the point of knowing the peak of ur cars cabin

Recommended Posts

how can you find out where yur car peaks at

a termlab or similar meters. for good readings you obviously don't want a shitty one. get test tones of several hz tones. start by the port at a low volume and start moving forward. you can also tell for comps what parts of your car help or hinder your score.

2010 Subaru Impreza

Pioneer AVH-P1400DVD

2 10" Rockford Fosgate Punch HX2

Audison LRx 1.1K

superglue a dildo to the center of the cone....lube it.....then have that dumbass sit on it :good:

while playing a 10hz note

haha, this reminds me of a paintball sticker i have "my balls slap at 300fps"

now I want a sticker that says "i fuck at 10hz"

So this is the official way to measure actual size of audio penis? Interesting.... :santa:

Its a start.. make the box fart with your audio penis :peepwall:

As far as that goes don't even rent a car just go test drive the same type of car take it to the destination and do a quick test tone sweep ..then burp you peak frequency on video then take the car back.

Here in America we call that a queef good sir. :good:

Alright this is pissing me off. Does anyone actually know what the hell they are talking about here? I read like the first 6 pages expecting to learn something and after about the first page, maybe two, all you guys are doing is arguing. ALL I want to know is, how the hell do I figure out what my vehicle peaks at...

Jesus, some of you guys just don't know when the hell to stop. This is a learning thread, try helping someone learn, go debate somewhere else!

if you didnt understand anything from this thread, and wasnt able to realize what theyre talking about, you need to do some more research anyways. finding your cabins peak may be a little above what you need at the moment. theres a great thread by Neo_Frog stickied in the general section and theres BCAE1.com which will take you awhile to complete and read but will give you some insight.

Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?

that sweep is most likely too fast.

my friend was playing a similar sweep when we were testing his car, and it was peaking at 51Hz, but when playing tones it actually peaked at 45Hz or so.

normally this won't happened, my friends car was just acting weird, but its always something to consider ;)

Slower sweeps scored the same, i did this thing a few months ago with other sweeps hommie, i used this one and got this vid just to show how you can find the peak of a car, i already knew what was the peak of the car before even buying it lol

i´ve doing this with sweeps for a long time with good results, anyways, everyone do whatever you like and that´s it, i own a termlab and i can find peaks much easier than trying to do it blindsided :drinks:
