Tricked out Ram, Just got done with a 5 hour detail

Recommended Posts

5hr detail huh?

Missed a spot

Sorry, had to hate a little bit, I love those trucks. Looks nice

That is bumper rash, not dirt.

So what all did you do in your detail? I only ask cause I wish it only took me 5hrs to detail my car, let alone a big ass truck.

First off, its a full size truck. The detail consisted of a wash, which took appx 30 mins. Followed with a full clay bar, which took about 1 hour. Followed by a Hand Polish using Turtle Wax Polish, which took 1 about 1 hour. Buffed it all out with microfiber towels. Then followed with Meguires Ultimate Wax Paste, which took over an hour. Buffed it all out with microfiber towels. So Just alone claybar, polish, and wax took 3 hours, 3 and a half if you include wash. Followed by a interior surface cleaning, say 10 minutes. Vacuum took about 10 minutes. Clay bared all of the windows and cleaned them which took 30 minutes. Then I polished my rims and side steps with Turtle wax polish, by hand all 4 wheels took 1 hour. I use Tutle Wax ICE Complete interior spray, I can use it EVERYWHERE!

I don't have leather currently, but I will have custom leather seats stitched withing a few months.

So its over a 5 hour detail. And I too love the feeling of glossy clean paint.

That's a clean ride, I don't mind that its not lifted, so where are the inside pics?

Not lifted? Looks like a good inch or so lifted. But it looks real nice, I love the clean white color and the grill, looks great. And the headlights look sweet.
