Nathan @ XSpower
Just a simple load test comparison of the D3100 and a couple other Group 31 batteries. I am sure we should have done many things differently and I am sure we will hear about it, but people ask for comparison videos and here you go. Approx 500 amp load for 30 seconds. THEKINGsBACK
Glad I went with xs power... Quote he wouldnt be the first to say they did a 167 with a system like that (one that clearly DOESNT), but i have to say, he didnt beat me anywhere, ive never competed against the guy. If he thinks his does a 167, mine would probably put him in a coma. :hairtrick:

TheyDontWantMusic
your load tester appears to be measuring the voltage at the tester, not at the battery. I imagine the voltage drop along those thin cables at 500amps would be quite excessive, would it not?

I imagine the voltage drop along those thin cables at 500amps would be quite excessive, would it not? Good point. Just went out and checked it on three separate 30 second pulls. The first pull it was right on the money up until about 20 seconds in and then was about a tenth difference difference from the battery to the load tester. Second 30 second pull was from 1 tenth to 2 tenths difference, and 3rd pull was 2 to 3 tenths difference. As the wires got heated up the resistance got higher. So the second battery and the D3100 were actually about 2 to 3 tenths higher each at the battery.
