iceman1575
VS Thread. 'Nuff said. Obviously 4 15's > 2 15's. Downfalls with more subs is more box needed, more power needed to make sound good, and more cash out of pocket. POTATO!
TeamHT
I wouldn't say more power is required to sound good. It is very possible to run four 15"s on that power and still sound great. But...its a little pointless really. Two 15"s vs four 12"s or 15"s....so...which one is it? Lol, I personally would do two 15"s over four 12"s. But do you even have the space for four 15"s? I mean...what are you aiming for? Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?
Relyks
i would do the 2 15's and you are not giving much info though. looking at ur sig looks like you already got this build done.... or you are doing another. --> My Toyota Build Link / AudioQue Build . <-- Latest Update 1/16/
fecupe2001
I prefer my 4 12´s configuration, disipate better the heat and more cone area, AQ´s are basically the same DD´s , i built a box for 2 3515´s that we tried in my explorer, and no matter what i did, my 4 2512´s got louder and yes, 2512´s are almost the same SDC2.5 , i would with that if you have the space for a good box. PS: VS topics?? i see n8 soon over here! I´m the SPL Gains topic creator!! wanna get louder?? check this: SPL Gains. baller95
I would go with the 4 alpine type R's all the way !!! Go with the Type X's if u have the money, you WILL NOT regret it !
TeamHT
price difference from the R to the X for the performance gained isnt worth it. Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?
