mbdblue
interesting mounting the EQ to the ceiling man. did you consider glassing a small oblong shaped cover to fit over them to hide the wires? possibly to match the doors...think that would look nice. Not a huge kicker fan, but everything looks pretty damn good man. dereileak
Well got my driver door started, one issue is the corners around the door, the fleece didnt get pulled up to it all the way, im thinking of just using fiberglass up and around the side should take care of that? any input? but as far as where the speakers go, its solid as hell!!! Lowes messed up on the resin I bought, got a gallon of 3m resin thats normally 35 for 17 dollars Also going to do a crossover in that pocket there, I only have room for 6 of them in the hatch part, so that will be a good spot to show it off Also my vibrating sander isnt working real well for this, its too big, what do you guys suggest? and what grit should I use, I think im on like 160 right now or so EDIT* Also im thinking of spacing the crossover out, which is really big, by like an inch from the door, which will still keep it in that pocket, then mount a sound reactive ccfl under it which would be amazing, already gonna do some above the passengers and drivers feet This is my first fiberglass project ever so its going pretty well Also for paint im thinking some metallic maroon with some black shading it around the outside, I will have to use something in a can cause I don't have a sprayer, but oh well 2006 Mazda3 Hatchback Black 5 Spd ManualPioneer 4300DVD2 Sundown SA-12 (34hz Tune, 3.22 cubes, 14.5 inches per cube, Triple Baffle)Kicker 10ZX2500.1 (2845 RMS) Sub AmpKicker 11ZX650.4 (705 RMS) Mid Amp -- (3 Amps)Kicker KQ3 Active CrossoverKicker KQ30 EqualizerKicker 09QS60.2 Components (Woven Carbon Cones)Kicker 09QS65.2 Components (Woven Carbon Cones) - (3 Sets)2/0 Gauge Electron Beam Technologies (3 Runs, 2 +, 1 -) 1/0 Gauge KNU Kollasal Flex (1 Run for -) 300 Ft Kicker X-Series 16 Gauge Speaker WireXS Power D3400 (Rear)XS Power D3100 (Front)Singer Externally Regulated Alternator (Being Built)+ The Love for Car Audio and BASS <3UBL Build Log <------- Click Here-------> Normal Build Log (For Comments)
