JZeFF
I had this problem with my sundown amp.. turns out that the remote gain connection wasnt plugged into the amp all the way.. Something simple, but worth a look.. Just make sure you take it out with the power off. bumonskateboard6
Have the bass knob with you and turn the knob up all the way. Then while having your subs disconnected turn the volume up to where you'd like it to be and play a 50HZ tone, as soon as the knob is a solid red for clipping back the gain on the amp off a hair. The clip light is a little early on these compared to what my o-scope shows me so you should be fine. Also I know it's frowned upon a LOT here but I scoped mine with between 2-4db of bass boost on because it matches up with my mids and highs better. But if you don't have a scope I do not recommend attempting this. Low voltage doesn't blow amps. That's a myth. A router that does the sub holes makes rounded edges also?
Supercharged DCs
Use the first + and first - Alright mate. If out of phase will still play n get power just will not be loud How can I tell if it is out of phase? I had this problem with my sundown amp.. turns out that the remote gain connection wasnt plugged into the amp all the way.. Something simple, but worth a look.. Just make sure you take it out with the power off. Will check the remote wire then. Have the bass knob with you and turn the knob up all the way. Then while having your subs disconnected turn the volume up to where you'd like it to be and play a 50HZ tone, as soon as the knob is a solid red for clipping back the gain on the amp off a hair. Also I know it's frowned upon a LOT here but I scoped mine with between 2-4db of bass boost on because it matches up with my mids and highs better. But if you don't have a scope I do not recommend attempting this. Where can I find a 50hz tone? And when doing that, what should I have the gain on the amp, if moved at all? And I don't have a scope so I won't attempt that second bit. Bassless once again. Can't seem to keep a system for more than a few weeks Saving for a '06 Nissan 350z, look for build around June 2012. jmilch
Took bass knob off, repositioned speaker wires, still nothing I have had no trouble hooking up an amplifier until this one, though none were of this caliber... Caliber has nothing to do with it. I've installed cheapo amps for customers up to some amps I'd personally never pay for they were so expensive, and they all work pretty much the same man. It sounds like you may have a RCA issue. Have you swapped out rcas?
