MACnonsence6 Posted May 16, 2011 Report Share Posted May 16, 2011 so far i have one re se built and another awaiting a recone but ive been contemplaiting instead of building my second 12 tear apart the recone outa the first in the nicest way possible i used jb weld to put it in and i really think id be able to take it out saving both the surround and the spider. plan is to save that for later and get a pair of 18" baskets and build a pair of 18s with my se motors. wondering aside from getting a special recone made what other woofer 18" recones could i get to work with an se motor. i was looking at an sx18" recone but idk if the coil will fit any thoughts/ sugestions Quote I picked up an MTX Sw1212 powered subwoofer today. This thing sounds amazing. 130 watts, 12" woofer with a passive 12" woofer tuned to 27 hz. Moving the pictures on the walls and my girl got wet from the bass when i showed her haha.
