Question To All Trunk Sub Owners Facing The Cabin

I have two 18" facing forward. The trick is to remove the backseat all together. That solves the rear passenger problem and the "How can I put larger subs in my car", problem lol I am building a quazi-seat over the amp rack and baffle so someone could sit there but no seat belts so...pretty much just for show. I like the idea of a 4 door 2 seater. j/k

lol, that would solve a few issues

only way ive seen 18s in a trunk car, is facing up or IB setup straight off the trunk opening where the seats fold down

also like the guy said above, two1 5s ported would be very tight to get appropriate volume needed for the subs, and always measure 2-3 times, then again just to be sure, maybe once more after that, lol

Yeah they're IB. Like having 18" and a trunk. Best of both worlds

You won't fit two 15s. But there is nothing wrong with the seats up listening to it. The seats aren't sealed shut or anything. No different then having subs facing the trunk coming through the seat anyways.

I have 2 15" HDC3's facing the driver and I build the box so that it will slide up and touch the back seat. And its a 1991 Accord. So, it can be done. It's squeezed in there, and I still have room for plenty of groceries and more room for a bigger box

I always drive with my seats down b/c it's way louder in my car.. my sub also faces the back. Whenever people do ride in my back seat they say it feels like a back massager lol. I think may try and seal it off from the trunk as a summer project though. I've got 1 15'' ported.

I have two 15" XLs in the trunk facing forward. Not many people ride in the back seat, and I normally don't bump with a lot of people in the car. If I do the people in the back seat have to suck it up

If you have people in the backseat, they are just going to have to suck it up and go along for the ride. LOL

It does feel pretty good though.

Who cares about them. It's your car, I haven't put my back seats up in almost a year.

If you care about the people in your back seat then don't bother, either way, if it's loud the seats will flex.

I've got 2 15's in my civic coupe trunk with 7 cubes ported. Mine are horizontal not vertical but they still fit. A regal is much larger. They will fit easily..
