97SSBlazer
Bummer your woofers blew, in spectacular fashion I might add. Is your amp okay? I wonder if maybe you amp shot straight DC current to your sub making it lockup up in full excursion mode, snapping the tinsles, causing some sparks and burning the spiders? Opps, a little long winded on that one, but I hope you get my drift. Check the amp. On a side note did anyone catch Nick mentioning a new basket? o_o In for pics of that one. Come on Nick, just a little napkin sketch, a little doodle of whats to come. I checked the amp with a scope and it looked fine. lower tuning is just hard. I was surprised how loud 145 sounds at 35hz, and how quiet 145 sounds at 50hz. -= 2005 Tahoe LT =-Head unit: Pioneer AVH-X5500BHSSource: iPad Mini in dash Subs: 2 T1 12's Sub Amp: T1500-1bdCPWire: Rockford Fosgate 1/0 awgSignal Cable: MonsterFronts:Stock Bose for now:)Rears: Stock Bose for now:)MIds/High amp: Stock Bose for now:) 2005 Tahoe Build Log: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/172529-2005-tahoe-my-17th-vehicle/ 2001 Monte Build Log: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/160030-2001-monte-carlo-my-16th-car-lol/page-2#entry25309381997 Tahoe Build Log: http://www.stevemead...oe-6-15-rf-15s/2001 Impala Build Log: http://www.stevemead...katzkin-inside/

For all I know, you could have been cleaning a classroom at a college and listened to a professor speak. Do you have any degrees in electrical/mechanical engineering or are you just good at googling? formerly known as Jaylor Swift

If your so smart and know all these about physics, flux, electrical engineering, and about thermo dynamics; why are you a Janitor? The only excuse is your retired, in which case I would say maybe your to old and have been out of the industry to long to realize what has changed considering the tech world changes at an extremely fast rate. When comes to physics it take more then a couple of classes to know what your talking about... unless he taught himself the equivalent to a degree then i think ill listen to the guy that has VT asking him for engineering help.
