on the power thing, i didnt notice too much of a difference......i think bumpin my system hard will REALLY decrease mileage but when im just cruising im not producing 1300 amps, only what the car needs (less then 100). So when there is no load on the alts they are basicly just pullys....it probably doesnt help much but when there is no load i dont think its that bad.
