Wow great start and cool car too :)

Make sure you attach that base firmly as in an accident you don't want it coming forward or tipping forward. I've seen what happens when a wall comes forward in an accident and it ain't pretty :o

Looking forward to the rest of the progress :)

A small set back....

When I was running 3 inch screws thru my floor board, i hit the gastank!! LoL I cleared the tank on one side, but not the other. My buddys at the salvage yard got one waiting for me tho, so its no big deal. I can still drive the car, so I keep moving forword with the wall and worry about the gas tank when I run the power wire under the car. http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/public/style_emoticons/default/mad.gif

I used liquid nails on the bottom board to avoid the same problem you just had i used about half a tube on the bottom 2x4 and then screwed everything to the 2x4s. what kind of amps are those

see i screwed in the passenger side first, and looked under and was clear, but I didnt look under on the driver side and just started a screwing and gluing. by how it looks to be there is only one screw in the tank, and the screw is still in it so it dont really leak. oh well. Lol

The amps are these.

Very rare in the US, they are imported from finland, with a hefty price tag.
