Team_DC-Derrick
probably, probably not... if your electrical can support it, it might, or you might get the magic spl smoke and it goes into the air and you can never get it back... im running my 7k2d at .175 daily, but im not retarded with it... its worth a shot if you are willing to pay for repairs/new one LOL Quote The DC Integra 3 18s to 6 15 build log Team_DC-Derrick's Youtube Team DC Audio where theres a will theres a wall....... skyhighcaraudio
Make sure you have the gain lower than you normally would on the amp and if you electrical is up to par it will should be fine. What makes them blow when running at a lower than recommended ohm load is overheating so you can add a fan on the back of it and/or leave the gain lower than normal. I would say do both...better safe than sorry. I have 2 DC 3.5k amps strapped running at .4 ohm daily with no problems. the gains are love (about 25-30%) and there are fans on the back of each. Hope this helps!
