Bakerman Posted June 9, 2011 Report Share Posted June 9, 2011 (edited) So, before I moved to this new town, I lived in a trailor with a big yard...and it was easy to do work on my vehicles. And I was only about 5mins from my shop. Now, I'm living in apartments, with a gravel driveway, and I'm at least 30mins from our shop. I want to go outside so bad, and get to work on my car, but I am just losing my drive living here. I got in some underglows, and can't install b/c of the gravel...can't put a jack under my car, and even if i could, I wouldn't wanna lay down on that shit. Don't want all the neighbors seeing what I am installing anyways. So my shop time is now limited, and I have a radio, underglows, amp, and components piling up in my already small apartment. Me and the g/f went and looked at a few houses yesterday, and we found one we like. We would be sacrificing our dining room, for a bit bigger kitchen, but we will go from a 2br 1bth, to a 4br 1bth. Also, its got a nice size yard, and not to mention a 3 car driveway...plenty of room to get a car on jacks and work on it. Shit, i'd get out in rain and install shit if I wanted it done, no problem. I'm just more irritated that alot of people congregate outside around the apartments, and I don't want all the hoodlums, and gangbangers around my neighborhood knowing whats going in my ride. Hence the reason I want a house so bad. As stated in another thread, nobody in my neighborhood knows that I have a system in my car, and I want to keep it that way.
