Yeah if you get what im thinking in my head it would be badass. I did a quick like 10 second sketch up so you get a genral idea bviously if you had someone who knew designing it would look a whole lot better

Since i think you get the general idea i think you get what i mean when i say the front door wouldnt have support at the top of the window and side( the side with door handle) and the back window wouldnt have support on it where it meets the other window it would just be flush making it look like one big panoramic window. Yet you could make it where that back door could still open suicide, the hardest part would be making that front door. But if you could get with a glass shop and see if they could figure out the glass im sure you could figure it out. It would definitely be one of a kind and pretty sick but good luck with your final decision

the front doors would be the hardest,then just fabricating the frame for the rest of the window behind the driver door to still have a b billar, but have the glass over it if that makes sense. so then to the eye is looks like one big window, but when you open the door and you look where the ext/ext cab starts it will be the window resting on the b pillar if that makes sense. kind of how the 2nd ext cab window is now, part of the window rests on the c pillar in the exact same way. it would still have structure like crazy, cause this is a 150+db machine. god I wish i could pull that off but i just dont have the confidence. im a good fabricator but that shits no joke, alottt of fine print and major details to work with. damn tho you got my brain going now lol

Yeah if your putting up numbers like that you definitely need support like crazy. But i get what you mean it would be one of a kind thats for sure. I work at a tint and car audio shop and i see those windows (the no support kind) on a lot of mustangs and pretty much all mercedes cars so thats where the idea came from, never seen a truck like that though but i think it would be completely badass if it could be figured out right and done correctly.

The way I see it, you won't be able to please everyone and the votes are head to head. So either way you'll only be pleasing half. In my opinion you should do what YOU feel like you should do to YOUR truck. Looks great by the way!

man ive been following this build for the longest and im fully confident that your gonna make a good decision, but i have to just say, keeping the two windows somehow really emphasizes the ext ext cab thing. no doubt its unique anyway but that early rendering, if it could be done right, would be sick.

but then it will look like wierd looking single cab truck

Yeah it would need to be beefy. I just dont kno if I could pull it off and I cant risk the entire build to fail you kno what I mean? Aand I hear ya brotha I worked at Audio express here for almost 2 years then worked at sundance for almost a year, we see all kinds of cars. I just never looked at those cars that way because the idea had not been pitched by you yet lol. I still love the idea, I think it would be sick as hell, but just cant do it

WORD! thats what I have started to see, but regardless, I still am curious to see everybody's view. It looks like I am going to rock the ext-ext cab this season, then maybe next season after that il mix it up and change the windows. this thread can stay alive I still want everybodys input!! Im just curious!

yeah, but a cool as fuck weird reg cab truck! iv never seen that before. And as you can tell from the rest of the build I always try and do things differently so they dont blend in
