Termlab or tablesaw

Ive got both and I definitely use my table saw more. It really depends which you think you will get more use out of. Personally I build alot of boxes for myself and others and use my table saw alot. The saw will save you a ton of time when building boxes, but you will still need a good skill saw and a straight edge so you can rip sheets in half before you make your final cuts on the table saw.

The termlab is a cool tool to have but unless you are planning on seriously competing, then I think it is an unnecessary and very expensive tool to have.

termlab....i have a tablesaw and when building boxes i still use my skillsaw versus my tablesaw....now if it was panelsaw or termlab...that would be a different story

Fuck a table saw, get a panel saw. Those are the shit. You don't need any help to use a panel saw to cut a 4x8 sheet. I'd be all over the saw rather than the termlab though. A termlab would be awesome to have, but let's face it, a damn nice table saw is way more practical.

That's what I was thinking. Maybe put an add on craigslist. A couple months and it's paid for.

Also I'm moving to the other side of Florida in a couple months, my late dad has a tablesaw in my mother's garage, but I don't know if it works. A panel saw would be ideal.

depending on what your goals are TBH

you have a better chance of having a buddy with a table saw then a TL, if you dont do comps then a table saw. you can do alot with a circular saw..... there is no replacement for a TL

I am leaning a bit towards the tl because

If I had to sell either, I'd probably get more for the tl then the tablesaw

Physical labor and a broken neck don't mix, I have the will but not the way some times.

I think I can make my money faster with the tl.

Making money on a termlab is pretty much a non factor youll make 10 to 20 here and there but not enough people give a shit to pay for TL readings that they dont understand anyhow.

bust out subwoofer boxes and sell those your going to make money faster and more plentiful.

you can get regular saw at home depot for about $50-$100. just look for places with TL, cause your not gonna meter your car every day....
