Glad to see this build is still catching your interest I'm leaning towards doing it with Bluetooth, simply because it will make it easier to remove and whatnot. How much more stuff needs to be integrated for it to work with bluetooth? Or to run on bluetooth only? Mine is done with bluetooth, but it's synced with the head unit.... So it's: Tablet> bluetooth synced to HU> output through the EQ. All I have to do is switch the source on the HU and I'm back to listening to the radio, USB, CD, whatever. Not sure if you planned on eliminating the HU from the equation, and if you are, what processor will allow bluetooth connectivity is what I'm really asking lol. Tablets are easy As far as integrating it with minimum components, the easiest route would be tablet >aux in on eq> rca's to all the amps. That's really the hardest part, just figuring out how you're gonna get the tablet playing with all the features you need, music, movies, accessibility if you want to remove it... all that jazz. Yeah true and like inm just said I think I might wanna go wireless. But I'm thinking iPad mini of course lol Won't be for a long ass time tho. I'd like to get a system up and running first lol Holding off til later will actually be a smart move..... By the time you're ready, iPad mini prices will drop a little bit, saving you a little bit of $$$. In the meantime, read your ass off and plan everything out!!! I will be eliminating my headunit completely. The EQ itself does not have Bluetooth. I can't remember the mode at the moment, but I am buying a Bluetooth receiver that connects to the EQ via RCA. I hope to buy a unit that has at least 2 RCA inputs, so I will have the BT module plugged in, as well as an AUX for if/when the tablet is dead, I can just plug in an iPod or something.
