You can see where I relocated the 12v accessory plug too. Used to be where the head unit now is. I'll be taking that pod out and going over it with bondo to smooth it all out, then I'll cover it with bedliner again. I'm glad you're going to do something about that pod. The fiberglass look was driving me nuts and I wanted to ask you but didn't want to sound like a dick about it! Although I know you appreciate dick, I didn't wanna be that guy! That's Don's job! Anyway, glad you're addressing that! Why not sand down and paint that dash piece flat black? Not that plasti dip won't work, but just seems like a better fit with paint. Still like what you're doing there. I think I'm going to put my volt meters in the same place. I wanna find some of those chrome buttons with the leds around them for my on off switching I need. Not sure I want chrome though. I'd rather have black. Anyway, nice clean up job! So instead of just repainting the dash piece..... I ripped it out. Completely. Gonna redo it more like yours Scott gonna bump out the top to give it more of a downward angle, and I'll be separating the vents from the piece as well, that's if I don't angle it. Taking the vents out will allow me to cut a hole in the top of the dash piece so I can slide it right out.
