mbdblue Posted July 23, 2011 Report Share Posted July 23, 2011 hahaha I know Sound Concept. if I still lived in NY, I would help you out...my dad still lives in Nanuet. the owner of that place is actually a nice guy (bruce is the owner), and from what I could tell, knows his shit. but the salesman and techs there are like most audio shops from that area. Unfortunately they are one of the main reasons I started ordering equipment online instead of local stores. I chalked it up to it being a small shop in an area where there are very few audio related retailers...and don't try Sound FX in Central Valley either...I know/have met the owners and they will most likely charge you around the same if not more. Sound FX would have been my next option. There isn't much around here shop-wise. Hollywood Sound is nearby, but my brother has had bad experiences with them in the past. ah yeah I forgot about hollywood sound in newburgh...I haven't heard anything good come out of that place either...
