wouldnt making the port a bit smaller lower tuning ? if so, i could almost cut a peice of MDF to go inside the port to make it .75" smaller all the way down one side of the port..

that would lower your tuning by about .5 Hz and it would help with your excess port area

You're subs would get damn loud in the right box, if you can afford it I'd start over. Do around 8 cubes (Maybe slightly more, if you have BBP6 or WinISD experiment with overall size to see which produces the best graph and gives a good low F3 point) net, 34hz, 14-16 in^2 port per cube (From my experience they work VERY well at 15), be sure to figure in bracing when you design it and you'll be very pleased with the outcome. The right box would make all the difference in the world.

Just be careful playing below tuning at anywhere near full tilt with that much port. The suspension of those subs won't like it.

Dayum!!! Haha I was thinking, either your box is big as a motherfucker or your trucks cab is smaller than mine by a lot haha. I think it's a bit of both. My next build is going to be 4 15"s hopefully below the window line, I'm not sure if it's possible but in my cab my 4ft^3 box looks pretty small. Anyways man keep slammin! Hopefully everything goes good.

That little 3" lift does wonders on dodges! Nice looking truck man

so waiting on my 30Ft of 8 gauge cadence wire to get rid of my 12Guage speaker wire lol. and looking around for some components.. thinking of doing 6.5 components in front doors with tweeters in my A pillars, and 2 sets of 3.5s beside my box ( i have it pictured just cant explain how it would go :P ) but how would you guys go around fitting 6.5 components in doors that come factory with 6x9's?

also, going to order atleast 1 Optima Yellow top tomorrow, unless i can find a better priced battery tomorrow, then pickup probably 25ft of DOUBLE 0 guage wire for only 3$ a foot from a local napa that my dad gets discounts on :D! pics will follow!
