colton19
I've been contemplating over these two amps for a while now and still have not come to any conclusion, so i was wondering if you guys could help me by giving me some feed back on these two amps. Putting money aside, which amp is more reliable and gives better sound quality. I will be running one of these amps on a 270 amp dc power alternator, pushing an fi BTL n2 fully loaded at 1 ohm. TRTC360
Money wise I think the RF is cheaper, you can find a new one on ebay for 700-800 dollars. Sound quality I believe the rockford would win. I think both amps are equal in reliabilty. I've seen T2500BDCP birthsheets at over 3300 watts rms. The sundown will put out more power though. Personally I would go with the rockford but maybe it's just because i'm a rockford nuthugger? Either one will work great, it's up to you! David
The rf would put out more power due to box rise... I have totally fallen in love with them. And they are much sexier looking
jmilch
I will chime in for the Sundown. It may be a pretty penny more, but it will put out more power if needed, and it holds its value. Also I dont like to run mainstream too much, even though rockfords are proven. Also I dont like to run mainstream too much, even though rockfords are proven. The sundown may have a higher peak output (and no I don't mean max), but the RF and it's CP might have an overall higher power output. RooTxBeeR
^^ that's one of the things I like about RF. They may be a mainstreamed product but they are definatly worth all of what you buy. I would choose the RF personaly, but from what I have heard people say both are great in reliability and both put out great power.
