If ran at 1 ohm it should have a more consistent amount of output power which should be noticeable for sound quality and I feel that the Rockford should have better overall sound quality with less distortion. I run both RF and Sundown and I really like both but if I could own only one Class D amp and had to choose between the two companies, I would choose RF. notorious97200 Posted August 8, 2011 Report Share Posted August 8, 2011 Get a real ssf for that RF amp. 28 Hz maybe good, but the slope is not, on the RF : it won't block enough low notes for the sub. SSF can be found for cheap on some websites (parts-express, or Madisound, for examples). Personnally I like my Sundown amps, but the RF are very nice too : maybe easier to re sell in the future ?
