Mine is mounted right in my console... I did say the DD was sexier, but for 10 times the price? For most people thats a no brainer. This one was the best as far as quality goes. since this only has 2 wires to it what controls it from turning on and off? The more expensive one I linked senses 12V. The cheaper on does not. I added a tiny switch for 99 cents from radio shack to it. Now I just turn it on when I want. I prefer that over having it on all the time personally.
