BeatBox
you kinda got lucky in a way, if nail is too close to the shoulder your F'ed if its in the middle and the tire is not "run flat"(happens when u run it low on air) YOU CAN GET IT FIXED the right way to do it is to dismount it, plug it and then patch over it. should last aslong as your tire will id offer to fix it but kinda far away lol

252chevyboyz
Just patched a 275/65/r17 about two weeks ago. Tire went on 05 yukon xl and the tire has tire pressure sensors in the valve stems. I took it to wal mart and for 10 dollars they removed the tire, ground down around the puncture to the steel braid, and patched the tire from the inside. It has held up under many tasks towing two zero turns, towing a carolina skiff, and heavy cornering loads. I will say my man phillip at wal mart has my loyalty in the tire department Quote - 1997 Chevy Tahoe- Big 3 (1/0)- Dual Autocraft Batts- JVC KD-A315 HU- AQ 2200.1D- 18" AQ HDC3- Box w/ Removable Port (6ft^3 @ 36hz & 6.7ft^3 @ 42hz)- 39' 1/0 & 13' 2/0 Flex-A-Prene My Selling Feedback Build Log

DTS909
pull the nail out a little bit at a time, put some water or spit on it . If you see air bubbles you need to get it fixed, if not you should be good.
