No news from toolmaker yet. When I spoke with him, his wife was having surgery, so I dont expect anything until after thanksgiving sometime. He is still working a a big order that I placed over a month ago. Its hard to tell, in your truck is it 4 15s port on driver side?

I'm sure you are hooked like I am lol. dc ftw I am very very pleased with the numbers I saw last night. I know I have a little bit more in the tank though. Once I get my dual inputs from toolmaker, i expect the sealed score to get up around a 155.6. The biggest thing about what it did last night, is that I tuned the amp and burped it on my daily driving settings, not tuned for a 3 second burp. My voltage did not budge from 15.8v while testing and I am willing to bet that when I clamp the amp, I am seeing 15000w from it. To see such a large jump in numbers from the 7.5k to the 12k, I know I have to be seeing a substantial amount of power more than before.
heckvr4 Posted November 22, 2011 Report Posted November 22, 2011 4 18" konakis on that video. Port in drivers side mic on pass kick. Driver door open. If i have 2 people inside the truck i gain. 3 But its hard to find someone that wants to sit inside Yeah i also placed an order about a month ago for.triple inputs for my 9k's. I should have them in a few more weeks 05 f150 4 18'' DC lvl6 2 DC AUDIO 9.0ks 161.3 @ 44HZ build log here96 tahoe http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/160522-8-18xls2-dc-100k4th-order/page-9
CJ18 Posted November 22, 2011 Author Report Posted November 22, 2011 I forgot to post these pics from last night. These are for those of you that have been interested in the 2 different types of CF fabric and vinyl I have used. Bottom is the fabric and the top is the vinyl Fabric Vinyl, this stuff has a sticky back. When applying it, you can use either a hair dryer or heat gun to make it my pliable and stretchy to form to curves and odd shapes.
scooter99 Posted November 22, 2011 Report Posted November 22, 2011 And a Mizuno slipper to boot! I love that CF stuff! I'm going that route in my car also. Was going to do the peel and stick vinyl, but I may go fabric now. I'm betting it sits well too yes? Nice work man! NOW, I think I speak for everyone when I say - GET OUT THERE AND BUILD THAT BED CAUSE WE WANNA SEE!!!! Facebook Page: S99Creations 2006 F250 Lariat Build
CJ18 Posted November 22, 2011 Author Report Posted November 22, 2011 Is the cover motorized? If so, is that what's hanging down below it over the batteries? You could build a dual box or enclosure around the whole thing, two levels, and the batteries basically stay where they are, put the amp on top of them in a sliding drawer. Plexi windows on the front of both back lit with blue leds. DC power Logo on the top plexi, XS Power on the bottom plexi. There's a way you can do it, maybe someone else can chime in here, that you can get them reversed and frosted so that you stick them on the back side of the plexi (or what would be the inside of the enclosure) and when the leds are on it highlights the logos. Make sense? I could do a quick generic MS Paint drawing for you if not. Let me know! Nevermind I just did one anyway. Here you go, like this! That will give you your truck bed back, should be to the rear of the wheel wells. That's pretty much the area you have your current amp rack in now. The top picture is if you're looking from your passenger side and the tailgate is to the left. The second drawing is if you were looking straight on from the tailgate. Just a thought! I'm sure whatever you come up with will be sick! Tonedeaf, what year F350. I've got 94 crewcab long bed 7.5ltr gas F350 I'm planning a build on. Ok I have decided that this is going to get built.
