That is one hell of a motor you are giving up in that Solo X. It's a little tricky to unload as well, being they are such expensive subs. I would try to find another on the cheap and re-basket/re-cone them round to 18s. At 3500 watts you'll be short on power to fully utilize those motors though. If you can't up the anty on the power I'd go for a cone area build using a half a dozen or so low power woofers. Don't be stuck on a ported alignment. Half a dozen sealed tens will surprise you. The induction on them would be low meaning lower distortion. An added install trick would be to invert mount half of them and wire them so the cones move in phase with each other. This would reduce you 2nd order harmonic distortion giving you an even cleaner sound. As for which one to go with, I'd recommend the Fi X 10. Sealed .5 cuft ea, six would be a force to be reckoned with. With the air space required for 3 SA 15s, about 5 cuft ea, you can do 30 ten inch Fi X sealed off the same power (3500 watts) and be way louder. Just a little food for thought.

I think we are going to try to get his 3 SA15's in about 3.25 each net, box will be about the same physical size as what he's running, but tweaked to get under the window line.

I'd like to see a bunch of 10's too, but that would screw him in his classes in the series he's competing in. Plus I doubt he'd want to drop the coin for it. 3 15's on 3,500 watts will still have him in a fairly low class, if he breaks a 50 he will be one of 4 people that have in that class all year.

10s would be awesome and like he said I am very cheap. lol I think I'll go with the 15s cause I've never had some. lol We need to start designing a box soon Zach.

Midwest SPL. Advanced 2 is 2 18's, 3 15's, etc. under 4k clamped.

You'd be screwed in MidWest SPL. You'd be in Advanced 2 for wattage, but due to being over the window line you'd be considered a wall, so you'd actually end up in a higher class.
