bassaholicsfl
Add a leaf should be fine. If not put 3in lift springs on it Quote 2001 Dodge Ram Quad Cab.

bassaholicsfl
3in springs rated for a heavier duty load would do fine but you can go bags too. Quote 2001 Dodge Ram Quad Cab.

bassahaulic
2400Lbs is ALOT. Wall I would assume. Just build it, see what happens, with most the weight in the middle you it might be even. lol
BJD3
Add a leaf should be fine. If not put 3in lift springs on it Unless I'm mistaken (and I seriously, seriously doubt it) Tahoes/Yukons/Suburbans don't have leaves... Tarball
My 1999 Denali is Leaf Springs in the rear and Torsion Bars up front. You could stiffen the rear springs and drop the front to level out the ride. Adjusting ride height on torsion bars is stupid simple! Edited for accuracy. **Looks like 2001 is Coil spring in the rear. 99fullsizechevy
You would have to do a 2-3 in lift coil, but the ride will suffer a little.. your going with a stiffer spring that is compressed a lot which makes it even stiffer.. I would prolly lean towards a simple coil spacer.. Quote Laying frame soon.. System has to wait
