hello i have a 2001 tahoe, i have question or two. i am adding about 2400 lbs. of audio to it. i want to keep my balance on my truck so i can enjoy driving it. do i need rear air bags or stiffer springs? any advice will help. thanks.

Add a leaf should be fine. If not put 3in lift springs on it

Unless I'm mistaken (and I seriously, seriously doubt it) Tahoes/Yukons/Suburbans don't have leaves...

My 1999 Denali is Leaf Springs in the rear and Torsion Bars up front. You could stiffen the rear springs and drop the front to level out the ride. Adjusting ride height on torsion bars is stupid simple!

**Looks like 2001 is Coil spring in the rear.

You would have to do a 2-3 in lift coil, but the ride will suffer a little.. your going with a stiffer spring that is compressed a lot which makes it even stiffer.. I would prolly lean towards a simple coil spacer..
