Battery help please Edit New question

Recommended Posts

Ok I have a DC 3.5k and a Mechman 220 amp alt. I can fit either 2 xs d2400's or 2 xs d3400's. Question is which would be better for me. Could even mix it up 1 d2400 and 1 d3400.

Edit: Which would be better 1 d3100 or 2 d3400?

i have a D3400 and its really strong. you can charge at 15.0 volts all day. no experience with the other. but im pretty sure with the alt and two of either battery you should be good.

Although a lot of people do it I wouldn't charge in the 15V range. 14.4V max for daily use and you can bump up to 14.9V for competitions.

The higher you charge at the more likely you are to hurt the battery and cut down on the life of the battery.

Either of the 2 will work, and as said above the 3400 will save you some $$$$. The 2400 will give you a little more reserve since it is just a little bigger.
