So here we have it... Another KID who thinks his "Custom" box is built perfectly, and also not willing to take constructive criticism. That box appears to have very little port area, and there are a ton of "Less Expensive" drivers out there that will get louder. This seems to be yet another N00B that thinks if it doesnt say "JL" on it, it is crap... :madsign: OP, you will have to consider redoing that box, clearly not to spec for a "REAL" driver, and there are plenty of great companies here that are sponsors or "Friends" of SMD that offer products that will be a great addition to your audio setup. Also, if you blew a L7 on only 1500w, I'll bet you anything in the world you CLIP CLIPITY, CLIP CLIP CLIP the hell out of it... Might want to consider learning how to tune an amp and not USE BASS BOOST... Just sayin :unknw: Hell, I have a little 8" RE on 1 of my 2500d sundowns.... She is doing great, and never gets how/warm.... You never would have blown your driver if you didnt clip the shit out of it....

Are you looking for something is the same price range as your L7? If your looking for somethin that would handle in your 1500 watts RMS range DC makes the 15" XL thats 1500 watts RMS. Contact one of the handleful of dealers on the forum or go to the website for pricing. Like everyone is saying your going to have to make a new enclosure, and iirc the cutout for kickers square subs isnt round, correct me if im wrong. Plus you can always ask the dealers on here for recommended enclosure sizes for that perticular sub.

Hope this helps

That amp would fuck the shit out of those subs. It would roofie them, knock them out with chloroform, then make sweet, gentle, anal love to them all night.

Personally I would go with a DC level 4 15 for that amount of power, rated @ 1000W but will take more without an issue.

While I'm not box design specialist I think it should have a bigger port, that DC would slam the lows if in a box tuned to ~30-32hz (what you seem to be looking for), besides, the DC level 4 is WAY less money then something like a RF or JL and will perform just as good, if not better in the right box.
