I put 2 to 3 coats on everything except the baffle which only got one but maybe getting another and it didn't even take half the can to do it. So you should be good with just 1 gallon

Thanks. I guess one gallon it is. It's sucks that it's $90 though lol

The kit is $90 but just a gallon of the bed armor is like $35. I'm pretty sure you can get everything else for cheaper but buying the kit is more convenient

Yea. Well at the place I found it at 1 pint is 30. So I'll probably just buy the kit.

I would think, and this is just thinking and I have no reasoning behind this, but if you have the 4 connectors stacked like that on the ground bolt, the chances of them moving or coming loose probably increases with the center two connectors. You have a better chance of it all staying put and grounding better if they're all under their own bolt. Again, I have no reasoning behind this, but I just think about what if's and how they may occur or transpire and that's the first thing I came up with.

Maybe Orionstang can elaborate more on what he thinks.

Where did you find that bedliner paint at??

That's why they don't deliver.

Yer ass better go sit along the side of the road and wait.

You can't expect them to travel up some dirt road in a hick / back woods town. Thats how horror movies start :D

I explain things very simply and use analogies in terms of Pickles, and grape drink, pool noodles and jackhammers...if you can't put 2 and 2 together there man, There simply is not much more I can do.

That makes sense or maybe it's possible for one of them to not ground there instead flow back to the batteries maybe.I don't know thats why I asked him to elaborate on it.

Yes, I'd rather see each one on a separate bolt, also because it will allow for a more spread-out return path for the current (reducing voltage drop). Otherwise it all looks nice.

Thanks.Guess I got some more holes to make.Cleaning off that black greasy stuff was hard.Either way thanks guys and like I said I'm open to suggestions as long as there's an explanation.

I got the same black greasy stuff on my Tahoe underbody, it sucks serious ass, rofl. Once it's bolted up be sure to cover the connection points with lots of white lithium grease to prevent corrosion.

If I can find some of that grease here then I will but if not then I will have to figure something out

:peepwall: all looks nice makes me want to get my self an avalanche :drinks:

Thanks and they are really nice trucks with alot of options for anybody

SO haven't really been doing much except trying to break in that one woofer before I get the other battery in so I can finish up in the back.I was trying some tuning with the DD-1 and now it doesn't read a signal from the deck so I will have to check it through the amp tomorrow. Also will be separating the battery grounds in the back and troubleshooting some popping coming from the subs when the deck turns off.Anybody have an idea on how to get rid of it or suggestions let me know so I can have it on my T/S list for tomorrow.
