I'm so excited to get this enclosure going! It will do a 151 sealed and 152.5 driver door open. The scores didnt really change with the 4th order but the authority of the sound changed. I clamped the 9k today and it put out 8100 watts with voltage at 12.9 and only .5 rise. Going to do some more testing maybe this weekend with charged batteries and at my peak frequency which is 42hz. Bret any update on those doors? Bret any update on those doors? What exactly do you mean by this? Meaning you can feel it more defined over the standard ported enclosure? Kick drums have more kick, bass lines have more umf, stuff like that? I was told that the 4th would give you a nice deep low, but be more musical than a ported enclosure. Real96SS Posted August 15, 2012 Author Report Share Posted August 15, 2012 Yeah scooter thats the jist of it. The ported box was loud but only at certain frequencies. The 4th is just flat out loud no matter what I play and it hurts on some notes. Just ask Bret how it felt when he heard it compared to before with the ported box. Im sure with the Fi subs I could be louder but the PSi's are less peaky than the Fi's. I may throw them in just to do some comparison test.
