I personally use a pair of Sennheiser HD-205's every day. They produce clean clear mids, highs, and well defined bass. They have an overall great sound to them. They are not super bass heavy, but in a radio studio, that's not needed.

That's what I own. They seriously squeeze my head. I guess that's to keep outside noise down.

Why not? Because they're stolen, maybe?

Just get the Sennheiser HD-205's. They're good, and cheap(ish).

I personally love my Grado Headphones. I have had a pair of the SR80 for quite a while. They have a great dynamic range. Not bass heavy but blended properly but when using an eq to boost low end they have no problem coming in. They are built much better than the bose in my opinion but the on ear design can produce fatigue after extended time of wearing. The 80's run around 100 bucks. I would say Senheiser Grado or the higher end audio technica would all be great. In the 300 range you can pick up the grado SR325is I had no need for them but they are damn accurate on reproduction. Out of the ones I have heard I like my Grados the best just my .02.

i was thinking maybe these

http://www.amazon.com/Audio-Technica-ATH-M50-Professional-Monitor-Headphones/dp/B000ULAP4U/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1321426588&sr=8-1

never seen or heard them but they have an average rating of 5 stars out of 331 customer reviews lol

so i think that might be decent

i personally own and use them exact headphones on a daily basis, i bought them a year ago and love them.. when i bought them they were only 99 bucks, but i wouldnt mind paying the new price either, they are that good, and will give you the bass your looking for.
