VIPmeetSPL Posted November 18, 2011 Report Posted November 18, 2011 hello i was wondering if i ran my speaker wire all the way to the back but now i want to re arranger my trunk setup but dont have enough speaker wire can i splice with butt connectors will it make engine noise or affect it in anyway? or would it be better to buy more wire and have a solid strand? thanks

95legwagon Posted November 19, 2011 Report Posted November 19, 2011 i think that would be a better solution..... soldering is always better than butt connecters imo. i think alot of people will agree.... not sure if it makes a difference in resistance although i wouldnt think it would being as its the same size wire instead of a tiny piece of metal connecting the two pieces. i would solder if you dont want to run another length. -jarrid i think there real i was looking through that guys stuff he sells and it looks like he finds stuff at auctions and just sells it Yea, it looks like someone got the mids about a month ago....shit.
