general_neo Posted November 27, 2011 Report Posted November 27, 2011 Honestly 8 AWG is an overkill. We are talking AC current, 16 -12 should be fine. I use 8 awg to the box and internally 16AWG for short length like 1 meter. I already mentioned I am using Oxygen free pure copper. Quote
