Yeah, thats decent range there. Only thing Im not sure of is how them xenon bulbs will react in the 9007 pigtail. Because 9007 is factory dual filiment, you might switch to highs and have no lights on at all.. If you look at the 9007 pigtail there 3 wires.. one got high, low and ground. Sometimes the insructions are incorrect, its better to just check the factory pigtail and see whats high, low and ground with a dmm. Personaly I would of went with the relay harness because every thing is wired up nicely. With most kits they only plug into the driver's side pigtail. So imo you'd have a hell of a time running all that wire on your own if you where to do it right. Plus with the relay harness you'd pop a reley... without it you'd burn up a ballest and or bulb. Heres a pic so you understand what Im talking about.

The black connector with the blue and black wire (white wire is missing in this pic) on the far left is the 9007 pigtail, the connectors with thr yellow rubbers go to the ballests. Its a pretty simple hook up.

Yeah Ive done a few retrofits for a few club members. HID kits wiring wise are the same, just no retrofit of the projectors.

I didn't read all the replies, but I've used HID extra before, ran them w/o the relay kit with no issues. But I still recommend it. They're good budget HIDs, had them for a year and sold them, no issues.

when i had my first set i blew a bulb, so took the hid's out til i got the one bulb back, that night i was back to driving with cheap ass halogens coming off the bypass it was really dark and i drove over a small median lol

now i keep a few sets of bulbs and extra set of ballast :good:
